Our screen printing journey when all started when we wanted shirts for our small construction crew. I never realized that only needing 4 or 5 shirts with a SIMPLE design would cost so much! We knew there were a lot of other “micro” business out there just like ours trying to promote their name and not being able to afford the costs. So we learned how to screen print and bought a press. Then a short 4 months later we NEEDED a bigger press, so we got a new press.

Shortly after that investment we needed safety apparel for one of our clients, that lead us to G&S Safety Products literally right in our own backyard. They happen to be one of the top suppliers in the USA for safety clothing, lucky us! The stars aligned perfectly, right when I walked in to set up a commercial account, they happened to be looking for a new screen printing company.

We spent the next 3 years contract printing for G&S’s clients. Oh my some of the name brands we have printed for! From airlines, to heavy equipment, to beverage companies, and of course several government agencies on all levels. I know the world is a huge place but it still makes me smile to know we have printed items that have shipped to all continents except Antarctica, and our countries list sitting at 44! At the end of our last contract it was apparent that G&S was growing much faster than we were ready for and the two companies parted ways. We still see the other owners and include them as friends and a company that we highly recommend to others needing anything safety related.

After taking a very well deserved “year off” and only filling orders for our pre-existing clients, I am finally ready to build the online marketplace that I had originally intended to do!

Our shop is a micro business but a family owned and operated shop for sure. Our kids often get enlisted to help in production if needed. The kids current mission is to earn enough money for Walt Disney World Annual Passes! Oh Boy do I hope we hit the goals, You had me at castle!
